Criminal Immigrant Watch has been covering ICE’s Declined Detainer Reports for several months. The reports are essentially lists of sanctuary cities. Today, ICE announced on its website that it has freezed the publication of its reports:
ICE remains committed to publishing the most accurate information available regarding declined detainers across the country and continues to analyze and refine its reporting methodologies. While this analysis is ongoing, the publication of the Declined Detainer Outcome Report (DDOR) will be temporarily suspended.
The Declined Detainer Outcome Report is a weekly report that shows those jurisdictions with the highest volume of declined detainers, and includes a list of sample crimes associated with those released individuals. This report is mandated by the president’s executive order “Enhancing Public Safety in the Interior of the United States.”
ICE appears to have caved in to the demands of extremist Hispanic groups that support illegal aliens and wish to prevent the deportation of illegal alien rapists. We urge ICE to lift the freeze on its Declined Detainer reports.
Our friends at Breitbart have gotten a statement out of ICE on the issue: http://www.breitbart.com/big-government/2017/04/11/dhs-freezes-weekly-report-sanctuary-cities/
